Now offering telemedicine consults

Telemedicine refers to the remote delivery of healthcare services. The technology has been around for a while but progress has been limited by ease of use and certain restrictions placed by insurance companies. While some problems require an in-office visit and physical exam, many conditions, questions, and test results can be managed virtually via a telemedicine visit.

Restrictions from COVID-19 led to the rapid adoption of telemedicine. To limit exposure of patients and physicians in medical offices, health care providers are promoting telemedicine visits from the comfort of your home. It works similar to Facetime or other video chat applications. Physicians can bill your insurance company just like a regular office visit.

If you would like to schedule a telemedicine visit with Dr. Patton’s team, please call (410) 268-8862. Detailed instructions can be found here.
