Dr. Chad Patton is a board certified, fellowship trained spine surgeon. Since 2014 he has served as the Medical Director of Luminis Health Spine Surgery in Annapolis, Maryland.

Education and Training:

  • Vanderbilt University: Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Chemistry

  • University of Louisville School of Medicine: Master of Science degree in Neurobiology with research in the use of stem cells for spinal cord injury

  • University of Louisville School of Medicine: M.D. degree

  • University Of Vermont School of Medicine: Orthopedic residency training

  • University of Utah School of Medicine: Spine Fellowship training

Dr. Patton is currently a teaching faculty member with AO Spine North America; a committee member for the North American Spine Society (NASS) Advocacy Council; and an adjunct faculty member of the College of Health Sciences at Rush University in Chicago.

When not at work, Dr. Patton enjoys the water, hanging with his three daughters, playing piano, and creating spreadsheets to solve problems.

Sarah Hall is a Physician Associate (PA) with a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University and a Master of Science degree in Health Science from the University of Maryland. She served as vice-president of her class and earned her Physician Associate professional certificate from AACC.

Mrs. Hall and Dr. Patton work closely together as a team both in the office and in the hospital. Mrs. Hall frequently sees new patients for an initial appointment to determine next steps regarding imaging and treatment. She is the first assistant during surgery and will help care for you in the hospital, at our surgery center, and in the office at your appointments following surgery. As a team, Mrs. Hall and Dr. Patton have constant communication to discuss all aspects of patient care.
